CONNECTIVITY

Within the Lentor neighbourhood, most of the residential developments in the pipeline, and future development sites, are beside the Lentor MRT Station on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL). This station was part of the second phase of the TEL line that opened in August 2021.

When TEL3 open for passenger service on 13 November 2022, it provides commuters with a quicker and more direct connection to the city centre. Four of the current stations on TEL are interchange stations and collectively, they connect commuters to all the existing MRT lines. Stevens Station will connect TEL to the Downtown Line while Orchard Station will provide a connection to the North-South Line. Outram Park Station and Marina Bay Station are both three-line interchanges which connect TEL to the East-West Line and North-East Line, and the North-South Line and Circle Line respectively.

Lentor MRT is just 2 stations aways from Bright Hill Station (TE7) which is a designated to be an interchange when the Cross-Island Line (CRL) in operation. The new CRL stations will provide residents much shorter travel time to the west up to 50% of travelling time compared to the current travel time.
